Dear Colleagues,

My name is Dr Tanvir Alam. I am a general practitioner in the UK with a special interest in palliative care and I volunteer for Palliative Care Network.

Congratulations to all the winners of the first annual Palliative Care Network Poster Exhibition.  It is an honor to announce the winners.

I thank the esteemed members of scientific panel Dr Sriram Yennu and Dr Katherine T Ward   for their unenviable task of selecting the winners. 

A variety and breadth of high quality submissions came to the fore in sharing their unique palliative care knowledge and perspective.  I thank all the submitters of posters for sharing their work. 

Palliative Care Network also thanks the organizations and publications that supported this exhibition. 

And finally thanks to the talent and efforts of our team who work tirelessly to ensure Palliative Care Network runs smoothly.

Without further ado, the following are the winners of the International Palliative Care Network Poster Exhibition – 2009.
