International Palliative Care Network Poster Exhibition - 2010 Winners

Palliative Care Network (PCN) thanks the participants who submitted their works from around the world in order to exchange knowledge and developments in the field of palliative care. The works of the contributing colleagues has a global impact and unites the palliative care community.
Thank you to the “Supporters” of the Exhibition who promoted it. PCN invites you to be a “Supporter” in 2011. There is no cost to be a Supporter of the Exhibition.
The posters are copyrighted to give users unrestricted access to the materials. PCN grants permission for educational use of the posters with the condition that the authors are acknowledged and the posters are in no way modified.
PCN relies on volunteers who believe in advancing palliative care and empowering palliative care professionals to help each other. Since its inception,PCN is involved in various innovative endeavors to promote palliative care education globally by providing free platforms that aid in the exchange of knowledge and promoting collaboration.
PCN invites institutions, organizations and individuals to sponsor Awards for upcoming poster exhibitions. The awards can be specific (i.e. for particular disciplines of palliative care or “best poster” from a specific region of the world). The prizes can range from money and textbooks to access to resources, journals, conferences etc. Please feel free to contact info@palliativecarenetwork.com for details. We thank the Foundation for Hospices in Sub-Saharan Africa for sponsoring the best poster from Africa award.
The first author of each accepted poster is awarded an e-certificate as an acknowledgement of their contribution. The following posters have been identified by an independent panel to be facilitated by the following recognitions:
1 st Prize: Quality of Life, Symptom Management, and Palliative Care in Lung Cancer
2nd Prize: Planning for Tomorrow: Sustainability of a Palliative Care Service
3rd Prize: Establishing a Community Oriented Palliative Care Service
